During the last 50 years, Klinge has developed expertise in various applications of surface treatments and coatings for the Aerospace, Military and Commercial applications. Our focus on quality is what has made us a leader in applying Aerospace and Military coatings.
Klinge Enameling, Inc. d/b/a Klinge Coatings opened its doors in 1956. William Klinge and his son, James Klinge began applying FDA Teflon® and dry lubricants with 2 employees. By 1958, Klinge, now incorporated, began applying urethanes, lacquers, and epoxy coatings with then 5 employees. This led to applying many MIL-Spec, Aerospace, and high end custom applications such as Sermetel® and Alseal® in the 1990s. In 2009 Klinge began processing parts for Beckman Coulter, manufacturer of complex biomedical testing equipment, and in 2010 began processing parts for Varian Medical Systems.

In addition to our years of experience, Klinge Coatings is committed to providing quality applications. We have maintained certification to AS 9100, as well as being accredited by the National Aerospace Defense Contractors Accreditation Program (Nadcap) since 1998. Over time, Klinge has expanded to service various markets, and now employs over 35 employees. Keeping it in the family - 3rd generation, Philip Klinge is adding more associates with expertise in various fields to fulfill the highly technical needs of our markets. Our current 22,000 square feet is highly utilized and Klinge has just added 10,000 square feet and soon a full second shift.
As a family-owned and operated company, Klinge has provided outstanding service for half of a century, and our focus on quality is what has withstood the test of time. We continue to focus on quality and adding value to the services we provide by expanding our capabilities, technology, innovations, and resources today and tomorrow.
